This vibrant, stripy crochet sweater is called the Brighten Up Your Day Sweater! When I first showed it to my Instagram community, someone commented saying this will cheer me up in the cold winter months. I couldn't agree more! I can't wait to see what colour combinations you guys come up with. The stripes and ribbed texture give it personality but the actual shape of the sweater is still very simple.

This easy crochet pattern is suitable for beginners. You need to know basic skills such as chain, double crochet in the back loop, half double crochet and slip stitch.

This crochet pattern has available sizes from XS - 2XL, suitable for bust sizes 28 - 50”

You will need:

- DK / size 3 weight yarn in 2 contrasting colours. You'll need from 770 - 1210 yards in a darker colour and from 790 - 1230 yards in a lighter colour. More details are included in the pattern.

- 4.5mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

- yarn needle

- scissors
